|P| GOBINDA a.k.a. "Nepali Farmer"

During our trekking in the Himalayas in the north of Nepal, we ended up in a small village named Kopchepani and met Gobina. He lives with his family in a small house and runs a guesthouse for passengers. His delicious dinner satisfied our stomachs so much that we went to take a look in his garden behind the house. He guided us through his garden and told us that ecological gardening the most important thing is in his life. He wants to serve his children and guests as healthy food as possible. He inspired us so much, because financially it is not easy for him to survive, but his vision on ecology and health takes the lead.

So, if you’re planning to do the Annapurna Circuit, take the road that goes through Kopchepani after you’ve crossed the highest pass in the world and stay a night or a few days at Gobinda’s place. You can recover and relax here, eat delicious healthy organic food and enjoy the rural village life. Kopchepani is not yet so touristy, so only benefits.

You won’t regret it!
